O-Party

O-party is the highlight of orientation week and the start of student entertainment at UOW’s famous UniBar. O-party gives new students the opportunity to experience UniBar at its finest. So come along, meet new friends, enjoy great live music and party the night away at UniBar.

Wollongong Uni’s famous Garden Party is the highlights of the University social calendar. Showcasing Australia’s hottest live acts, DJ’s and outdoor entertainment, this event is a must for any fun-loving UOW student.

Band Comp

Every year UniCentre Band Comp showcases the cream of UOW’s musical talent. Open to bands that have at least one UOW student the competition attracts bands from all genres. Competing bands are in the running for a spot in the Southern Region Final of the National Campus Band Comp, which could lead to the NSW State Final and onto the National Final Where they have the chance to join the esteemed company of previous winners, Jebediah, Eskimo Joe and The Vines.

UniBar has long been famous for throwing an Oktoberfest party even our Bavarian cousin’s would be proud of.
