2009 Relay for Life
Join in the 2009 Relay for Life and contribute towards finding a cure for Cancer! This year's event will be held on 19-20 Sep 09 and is an event where teams of 10-15 take turns around an oval to raise funds for cancer research, education, support services and advocacy. currently working or interested in training, delivery and assessment.

International Week Winners
The "Face and Places" Photography comp that was held throughout International week was a great success! Thankyou to everyone who submitted their pictures, it was lovely to share them with the UOW campus. The Winners of the 'Faces' section of the Competition were:
1st - Atthapon Jongmeerak with a photo taken in Phuket, Thailand
2nd - Pawel Wagner who submitted a picture of a Maasai woman from Kenya
3rd - Donna Capararo which was a picture of a water seller in Marrakesh, Morocco
The winners of the 'Places' section were:
1st - Stuart Wagner who won with a picture in Tarifa, Spain - which is the closest point to Africa
2nd - May Shyuan Goh, Taj Mahal, India
3rd - Preeyanuch Premparbha with a photo of the famous 'Komloy yee peng' festival in northern Thailand.
