2009 Relay for Life
Join in the 2009 Relay for Life and contribute towards finding a cure for Cancer! This year's event will be held on 19-20 Sep 09 and is an event where teams of 10-15 take turns around an oval to raise funds for cancer research, education, support services and advocacy. Do Something Special & Donate Blood
The mobile Australian Red Cross Blood Bank will be on Campus and is calling for staff/students to donate. OPERATING HOURS:
24th Aug: 9.30am-2.30pm
25th Aug to Friday 28th Aug : 9.00am–4.00pm
Please call 13 14 95 to make an appointment to donate. You will also need to bring Photo Identification and have plenty to eat and at least three glasses of water/juice before donating. For more info, please click here.

New Sport Coming to UOW
A new sport is coming to UOW and it’s called “floorball"! Floorball is a fast paced indoor sport that blends the greatest elements of ice hockey with some characteristics also found in soccer and basketball. Not only is it safe, fast and exciting, but its great exercise too! A demo is being held on the 29th Aug, from 11:30am-1:30pm in the URAC Sports Hub.
