URAC Boot Camp is coming
This program is aimed at increasing your strength, core and abdominal strength, and cardiovascular fitness level over a short period of time. Bootcamp will run from May 2nd until June 13th, training 3 sessions each week for six weeks.
Sessions are Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:30am, and Saturdays at 7am. Join today and receive a free training singlet!

First Aid Course
The Senior First Aid course is on Saturday the 2nd of May. For those who currently hold senior first aid and wish to renew their certificate before it expires, you can purchase a ticket for the workshop at the UniShop. Help make a new life possible for one of thousands of children here and overseas, that is struggling with the constraints of poverty. Join in the National 'Pedal Against Poverty' campaign in April. 85Broads Networking Workshop
85Broads UOW are holding a Networking Workshop focusing on the 'Introduction to Networking', on Thur 7th May from 6-8pm in Kemira Room 3. Guest speakers will feature Jessica Saad (President of Junior Chamber Illawarra) and Troy Coyle (Director of Commercial Research at UOW). Cost is $5 for non-members, $3 for members or join 85Broads UOW on the night and entry is included. Please RSVP your attendance via email.
Learn to knit a woolly scarf
The Knitting workshop will be held on Thursday the 14th May in week 10, so grab a ticket from the UniShop. CSE will provide your wool and knitting needles and learn to knit a warm woolly scarf, just in time for winter!!

Red Cross Save-A-Mate
Red Cross Save-A-Mate workshop, the famous Red Frogs from Schoolie on the gold coast. This workshop will be held on Friday the 22nd May from 12.30 -3.30 and is only $25 for students. A great training course that will help you to identify those who are intoxicated and how to help them in these types of situations. Buy your tickets at the unishop!

‘Get Connected’ Day
'Get Connected' will be on the 30th April from 12:30-1:30pm, on the Duckpond Lawn and is FREE to attend for all. This event is a flow on event from Orientation and is targeted at 1st year students, although all students are invited to attend. It will involve non-faculty members who provide services supporting students, as well as free food, live music and prizes to be won. Trivia Evening
Support a good cause on the 7th May, by participating in the Trivia Evening, to be held @ the UniBar, commencing 6:30pm. Cost is $10/person, paid on entry. Coordinated by the UOW Red Cross Club, nibblies will be provided for each table, and seating is 8 people per table.
