SHARP Bush Dance
Bring your friends and join in on a night of entertainment and bush-dancing fun, featuring the Wongawilli Bush Band and an Australian BBQ. SHARP Bush Dance is on Fri 27th March, commencing @ 7pm in the UniBar. Prizes to be won for best hat, best dressed and best dancer. Diversity Week : Week 4

'Learn to Knit' Workshop

Women's Self Defence Workshops
An 8-week Women's Self Defence for beginners worshop run by CSE will be commencing on Wednesday the 1st April from 12.30pm - 1.30pm. This is a great opportunity for women to learn self defence in a friendly and comfortable environment. The 8-week pass can be purchased from the UniShop for $40. Bring some comfortable clothes and a good spirit. For further information please contact Katie via email.
Iranian New Year : 20th March
Fri 20th March is the Iranian New Year Celebration, which begins on the first day of Spring. Traditionally, locals engage in singing and dancing, parade as a carnival through the streets with tambourines, kettle drums and trumpets; all to spread good cheer and the news of the coming new year.

Earth Hour : 28th March
The UOW cares about making a difference, so make sure you support Earth Hour, sponsored by the World Wildlife Fund. For Earth Hour: 28th March @ 8:30pm, all staff/students are encouraged to turn off non-essential lighting and non-essential equipment on Fri 27th March. Try to make a difference by making energy savings not just for Earth Hour, but everyday. For more info and to register, please click here. Help to save our planet!
