Authentic Happiness Workshop
The 'Authentic Happiness' workshop will introduce several findings from happiness research, including things that people think make them happier but usually don't, and things that more reliably do make people happier. On Thu 21st May, from 12:30-1:30pm, in Building 20.5, this is a FREE event not to miss!

Tea by the Sea
In support of the Cancer Council’s popular annual fundraiser, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, the second annual ‘Tea by the Sea’ will be held at the Beachouse on Thursday 28th May 2009 from 7am. Shining a Light on Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia ranks among the top 10 causes of disability worldwide and is a major cause of youth suicide. On Thursday 21 May 5.30pm, Building 25 Room 107, SHARP in conjunction with
the Centre for Transnational Neuroscience here at UOW, and the Schizophrenia Research Institute are holding a 'Schizophrenia Awareness Evening'. There will be a poster exhibition, a mobile lab, fire dancers – and talks for carers, scientists and representatives of the Schizophrenia Research Institute.
