Who runs W2W?
W2W is organized by a community working group, which is comprised by members from the University of Wollongong (both staff and students), TAFE NSW - Illawarra Insitute, Wollongong City Council, community groups, business groups and social groups.
The website is being overseen by the W2W working group but is being run on a day to day basis by a team of paid and volunteer international students.

UOW Community Engagement Award received in 2009
The Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Community Engagement was established in 2006 and recognises and encourages exceptional community engagement by a member of the University staff and group of staff. In 2009 members of the Welcome to Wollongong Community Project Working Group who are employees of UOW were awarded a Highly Commended in Excellence in Community Engagement in the Team Category. These were
