What is TPIANZ?
The Technology Parks and Incubators Australia and New Zealand (TPIANZ) is an organisation
established to promote technology transfer, innovation and entrepreneurial growth through Technology Parks and Incubators.

International perspectives – IASP
 
TPIANZ is member of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP) which is an interdisciplinary organisation focusing on understanding the growth and development of Science Parks in urban, regional and international systems. The IASP annual conference provides outstanding networking opportunities with staff associated with leading Technology Parks throughout the world and exposures participants to the latest ideas in innovation and research commercialisation policy and practice.


Who should join?
TPIANZ membership encompasses people from many disciplines, including entrepreneurs, planners, educators, architects, developers, researchers, tenants and consultants. A major strength of the TPIANZ lies in the interaction of these various perspectives.
  

TPIANZ’s goals are to:
 Technology Parks and Incubators Australia Ltd aims to:
  • Facilitate and promote the role of Technology Parks and Incubators in fostering technology transfer, innovation and enterprise growth in Australia.
  • Identify and encourage world best practice in Technology Park and Incubator management to add value to tenant companies, Park and Incubator stakeholders and their customers.
  • Promote Australia and New Zealand as international centres for research and development by technology based organisations.
  • Act as the public face and peak industry body for Technology Parks and Incubators in Australia and New Zealand
  • Ddisseminate knowledge and encourage research and analysis in fields relevant to Technology Parks and Incubators
  • Provide forums for the discussion of research, planning and practice and strengthen ties between practitioners, academics and private companies working in the field of technology parks & incubators

Conference
 TPIANZ Annual Conference 
This annual conference links Australian and New Zealand policy makers, academics and practitioners on a broad range of topics.  The location of the conference is rotated around the different States of Australia and in N.Z.
