The theme of the conference, Relationships for Educational Excellence – centres on leadership challenges of creating and sustaining highly motivated individual and organizational performance. The conference addresses how this can be successfully achieved through relationships in the shaping of an energized learning environment for teachers and students.

Drawing on exemplary and innovative practice, research and experience, presenters and participants will consider how educational leaders can navigate the everyday human dramas, conflicts and dilemmas by successfully melding and shaping disparate groups, creating and sustaining enthusiasm and establishing collaborative cultures.

Keynote speakers: Hon Richard Torbay (Speaker of the NSW Legislative Assembly), Genia Janover Principal of Bialik College, Victoria (Australian Government National Award for Best National Achievement by a Principal), Professor Tanya Fitzgerald (Unitec Institute of Technology New Zealand) and
A/Prof. Narottam Bhindi (University of Wollongong). The Conference Dinner speaker will be Commander Tony Aldred (Director of Educational Services NSW Police Academy, Goulburn).
