Muslim Prayer Space

The University of Wollongong is proud to have outstanding facilities to cater for the Islamic community on campus. (Located in Building 50)

A dedicated building is provided for prayer and other activities. Wad’u (ablution) facilities are also available.

The Muslim Association of Wollongong University (MAWU) is responsible for the well-being of the Islamic Education Centre. MAWU is one of the largest and most active organisations on campus, providing a forum for students and staff of the Islamic faith with the unwaivering support of campus management.
