Day 1 of O-Week will kick off with a bang, with the following line up of events to kick start the 2009 O-Week Festival:

1:30pm – Folk Club Performance
2:00pm – Big Rory & Ochie (Scotland)
2:30pm – African Drumming, Music & Dance
3:30pm – Big Rory & Ochie (Scotland)
4:00pm – Latin DJ
6:30pm – Latin DJ
7:30pm – Salsa Demonstration & Dance Lesson
8:15pm – Fire Performance
8:30pm – Latin Band Maria Cachafa
9:15pm – Fire Performance
9:30pm – Free Shuttle Bus to UOW Accommodation Houses & CBD

Salsa Under The Stars will be the highlight of Day 1 of O-Week, and is FREE to patrons of all ages. Families & children are welcome and no alcohol is permitted at this event.

O-Week is set to take place in rain, hail or shine and during the case of wet weather, a wet weather contingency plan will be implemented.
