International Week @ UniCentre

Connecting through Culture, Cuisine and Community

The Centre for Student Engagement hosted the 6th annual International Week that showcased Wollongong's diverse and global flavours. A big thanks to everyone who was involved in making this event successful in 2012. A special thanks to STA travel, Skydive the Beach and Bridge Climb Sydney for their support and fantastic prizes.

Tuesday 4 September

International Food Safari

12pm-2pm
McKinnon Lawn

Showcases of food, activities and performances by Clubs & Societies, as well as a BBQ coordinated by UOW College students and staff. Don't miss the Brazilian drumming and dance demonstration.

Global Games

4pm-6pm
Building 11 Games Space

Take part in a range of games, listen to songs from around the world, Cultural videos on the big screen and more. Great prizes up for grabs with snacks provided.

Wednesday 5 September

International Picnic

12pm-2pm
Duck Pond Lawn

Showcases of food, activities and performances by Clubs & Societies, as well as a BBQ coordinated by WUPA (Wollongong University Post-Grad Association) and Cultural treats from ICIS (Illawarra Committee for International Students).

Global Trivia

5pm-7pm
UOW UniBar

UniBar Trivia turns Global with a huge focus on topics and issues from around the world. Great prizes up for grabs including Skydive the Beach vouchers.

iWeek on the Lawn
