The 3rd S4S National Student Leadership Conference

The S4S National Leadership Conference is a great opportunity for emerging leaders from around the globe to come together and not only hear from inspirational community leaders but also to network with other students from diverse backgrounds in a comfortable social environment.
Over the past two years over 200 students have attended the conferences to listen to motivating speakers including public figures such as Cheryl Kernot & Father Chris Riley as well as opinion leaders and motivational adventurers that have stirred our inner leader into action such as ‘Lentil as Anything’ founder Shanaka Fernando or high altitude mountaineer Zac Zaharis.
In 2009, students are planning a bigger and better conference – a take on leadership in the current social, political and cultural environment that we live in everyday, not just in our university lives. In the current social climate a degree will not be the only thing that sets you apart.
The conference is not just a series of workshops that mimic university lectures; they are inspirational, motivational and guiding seminars run by real people from real situations that provide students with the tools to go into the workforce or community with more experience, wisdom and understanding then everyone else around them.
