UOW 85 Broads

85 Broads is a network of trailblazing, visionary women who aspire to use their talent and leadership savvy to affect professional, educational, economic and cultural change for all women globally.

The 85 Broads network is a global community of over 17,000 talented and accomplished women at all stages of their lives and careers who use each other’s intellectual and financial capitals to effect change all over the world.

The 85 Broads network is unique in the breadth of knowledge, industry focus, career level, and geographic distribution across its membership. Our members range in age from 17-65+, work for over 1000 different companies, and live on all 7 continents.

85 Broads UOW is the University’s local chapter aimed at channelling the advantages of the wider network into the UOW community.

Charter Goals

- To develop and strengthen the 85 Broads network, through networking, developmental and service focused events in the region.

- To develop professional and leadership skills among women.

- To retain, engage and connect existing members.

- To plan, publicize and organise meaningful local 85 Broads events.

- To provide opportunities for women to address the needs and concerns of the community and our world.
