United Nations Society of UOW 

The United Nations Society of the University  of Wollongong seeks to raise awareness of the values and functions of the United Nations in the student community.

Furthermore, the United Nations Society seeks to provide regular forums for debate on global issues and a place for students to practice and develop skills they will use in their future professions.

Finally, the United Nations Society will provide access to a dense social calendar with events both within the Society and external to it, giving students the opportunity to interact with a broad cross-sections of the student community, students from other universities and current professionals.

The United Nations Society is a perfect forum for those people who are passionate about global issues, support the mission of the United Nations or want to learn more about it, want to make friends and want to develop skills they will use in their future professions.
