UOW Labor Club

The UOW Labor Club is an organisation that offers something to all students at UOW who are sympathetic to progressive and Labor policies. Throughout the year we actively campaign to both promote the policies of the Labor Party and influence them in a way that is beneficial to students. Our ongoing activities include campaigns for text books on HECS and Youth Allowance reform.

For those who wish to have their voices heard at the local level, the UOW Labor Club has a strong tradition of participation in University elections. Members of the club have served on the UniCentre Board of Directors, various Faculty Boards, the WUSA Council (including as President) and even the University Council.

Nor is our involvement limited to campus. Our members participate in Young Labor's wide range of social activities, and work all over New South Wales for the election of Labor Governments.
