WHO WE ARE
UOWmtb is a newly formed club in Wollongong. Our aim is to encourage people with an interest in mountain biking to get to know each other.

UOWmtb aims to involve all members in all aspects of mountain biking. This includes social riding, racing, trail and bike maintenance, filming and photography.

WHAT WE DO
UOWmtb plans to regularly hold weekly ride days, participate in local downhill race days, hold social BBQs, as well as larger events, including a social trip to the World Cup MTB round in Canberra, and participation in a 24 hour race.

WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN
Joining fees are $10, which will all come back to you throughout the year, through BBQs and petrol for shuttle runs.

• 15^th - 16^th August: Round 1 Funnel Web DH Series (Wandandian, Nowra)
• 29^th – 30^th August: Canberra Trip
• 4^th – 6^th September: UCI Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships (Mt Stromlo, Canberra)
• 12^th – 13^th September: The Oaks Trail (Woodford to Glenbrook, Blue Mountains)
• 19^th – 20^th September: Round 2 Funnel Web DH Series (Wandandian, Nowra)
• 28^th September – 4^th October: Six Foot Track (Katoomba – Jenolan Caves, Blue Mountains) [As this is in the recess week it has yet to be decided the exact dates, will be a two day event as it is planned to take one day for the ride and the next day to explore Jenolan caves and drive back home]
• 10^th – 11^th October: Scott 24 Hour (Stromlo, Canberra)
• 17^th – 18^th October: Round 3 Funnel Web DH Series (Wandandian, Nowra)
• 1^st November: Sydney – Gong (Road Ride from Sydney to Wollongong)
• 14^th – 15^th November: Round 4 Funnel Web DH Series (Wandandian, Nowra)
