UOW Turkish Society

The Turkish Society of Wollongong University aims in uniting Turkish students and those interested in Turkish culture by organising social, cultural and recreational activities. Such events may include eating at Turkish restaurants to having a taste of the Turkish cuisine, organising various sporting activities such as soccer, and social activities such as Turkish movie nights and bowling. In addition, the society also aims in providing support and assistance to their members, especially for first year students to overcome the problems and difficulties they may face during their adaptation to a new educational environment.
