UOW Baha’i Society

The Baha'i Society is a club that is based on principles of the Baha’i Faith, such as peace and unity of mankind, elimination of racial prejudices and equality of men and women.

The aim of our club is to promote unity, peace based on the Baha’i principles, through social events and activities.

We organise activities such as Sports nights which is a fun night of various sports and games, held at the URAC centre and is open to all people whether you are a UOW student or not. As well as Tranquillity zone which is a meditation/discussion group, located on campus to give students a chance to take some time out of their busy and stressful timetables for a bit of relaxation and socialising. We also have Ruhi Book Studies, which are study courses that provide individuals with the opportunity to become more educated in the Baha’i Faith by reading and discussing the Writings of the Faith.

So if you’re interested in widening your horizons, want to deepen your spirituality or just want to help promote paece and untiy, the the UOW Baha’i Society is for you.
