Start a club or society
Starting a club on campus is a great opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills, meet new people and to share an interest with the wider campus community.
1. Brainstorm an Idea for a club
Come up with an idea for a club. Some examples of what they can be based on are:
- Cultures
- Special interests
- Academia
- Spirituality
- Community service
- Politics
2. Get Other Students involved
All clubs require a minimum of 10 full members. Full members are any enrolled student at UOW. If you don’t have enough people don’t worry – we can help you recruit members.
3. Tell the Centre for Student Engagement (CSE) about your creation
There are three ways that you can let us know your idea:
1. You can come to the CSD in person (find us using the map!) and speak to us about you idea
2. Email the Clubs Coordinator with your idea and any questions at clubs_and_socs_enquiries@uow.edu.au
3. Go to the “Contact Us” section of this website and fill in your details
