Phase 3: LEAD
The third year emphasises personal leadership as you select one of three teams to lead in: the First Year Mentor team, the Community Impact team or the National Student Leadership Conference team.

In the First Year Mentor team you will be responsible for one of the Phase 1 teams. You will meet with them on a weekly basis, mentor the students, deliver the curriculum, facilitate the discussions and generally be a valuable resource for their first year in Uni. Think of the impact you can have and relationships you can build with your team!

In the Community Impact team you have the opportunity to design and implement a year-long community service project with significant starting funding. The sky is the limit as you and the other team members first plan, and then complete a project of your own design.

In the National Student Leadership Conference team, you will be responsible for planning and hosting a multi-day student leadership conference for uni students from across the country. This is an excellent chance to practice event management of a grand scale while also learning how to convey to others what you have learned in your own leadership journey.

In addition to these three teams, you are encouraged to apply for the Blue Chip - Black Opal Exchange with our sister organization, the Arizona Blue Chip program in the United States.

You also undertake work and employment preparation, several high-level workshops, write a reflection paper and present on your 3 year leadership journey.

Phase 3 finishes with a powerful and intimate graduation evening, and a social mystery weekend away. We are also examining the possibility of an honours year....Phase 4!
